Algo trading, also known as algorithmic trading, involves trading with the help of a computer program based on predetermined rules set by the user. The program is capable of making decisions, placing of orders and even an execution of trade. Human traders are never able to achieve the speed or frequency with which the system can automatically execute orders once the necessary conditions have been satisfied.
